Cape is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with federal and national security customers, translate ambiguous mission needs into working software, configure and integrate mobile core capabilities, lead pilots and demonstrations, troubleshoot production networks, and push durable fixes into the product roadmap. The role requires 2+ years of software or forward-deployed engineering experience, strong customer-facing technical delivery skills, U.S. citizenship, eligibility for a U.S. Top Secret clearance, and willingness to travel up to 50%. The role is based in Washington, DC or New York, with relocation available, and offers a New York or Arlington salary range of $175,000–$235,000 plus equity and benefits.
