MongoDB is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer for its Industry Solutions Team to work directly with independent software vendors and their engineering teams. The role involves embedding in partner codebases, designing and building MongoDB-backed integrations, migrations, data models, and coexistence solutions, and enabling partner engineers through collaboration, code reviews, and knowledge sharing. It is a hands-on application engineering position based remotely in Toronto, requiring significant on-site time with ISV partners and regional travel. The role requires 5+ years of backend engineering experience, strong MongoDB and relational database expertise, experience integrating and migrating production workloads, and fluency in at least two programming languages. The base salary range for candidates based in Canada is $158,000–$220,000 CAD.
