Description
Telnyx is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to build and operate enterprise AI and communications solutions for customers in Colombia and the broader Andean/LATAM region. The role partners with an Enterprise Account Executive, leads technical discovery, architecture, POCs, production launches, and ongoing customer support, and owns implementation of AI voice assistants, APIs, WebRTC, LiteLLM, model routing, observability, and self-hosted or hosted LLM workloads. It requires a CS degree or equivalent experience, at least three years of production software experience, proficiency in Python, Node.js/TypeScript, and Go, plus experience with Kubernetes, observability, high-concurrency systems, APIs, and customer-facing engineering. The position is based in Bogotá or willing to relocate, is hybrid with travel across Colombia and the Andean/LATAM region, and requires legal authorization to work in Colombia or eligibility for sponsorship.
