Telnyx is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to build and operate enterprise AI and communications solutions for customers in Mexico City and across Mexico and Latin America. The role partners with an Enterprise Account Executive to lead technical discovery, architecture, proof-of-concepts, production implementations, troubleshooting, and customer outcomes. Responsibilities include deploying AI voice assistants, APIs, WebRTC, LiteLLM, self-hosted open-weight models, observability, model routing, and regulatory-compliant integrations. The position requires a CS degree or equivalent experience, at least three years of production software experience, proficiency in Python, Node.js/TypeScript, and Go, and the ability to work hybrid with travel across Mexico and the broader LATAM region.
