Salesforce is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) Engineering Leader to build and lead its New Business team, combining technical execution with commercial outcomes for complex enterprise AI deployments. The role leads and coaches the FDE team, supports seven-figure opportunities through architecture, demos, and product evaluation, codifies successful deployments into tools and playbooks, and translates field experience into product and engineering feedback. Candidates need at least five years of technical experience in software engineering, forward-deployed engineering, solutions architecture, applied AI, or related roles, plus three or more years leading technical customer-facing teams. The position is hybrid, requires eligibility to work in the United States, and offers a base salary of $252,000–$280,000 for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area.
