Datarails is hiring a Forward Deployed Financial Engineer focused on Applied AI to lead customer discovery, solution design, development, testing, and delivery of AI transformation engagements. The role builds LLM-based agents, skills, routines, workflows, and applications for finance teams, evaluates their reliability, manages customer change, and partners with Customer Success, Product, and R&D to translate customer needs into scalable platform capabilities. It is 100% remote in the United States, requires production experience with Python or TypeScript, SQL, REST APIs, and modern LLM tooling, and offers a target base salary of $120,000–$150,000 USD per year plus healthcare, equity, retirement matching, parental leave, and other benefits.
