Prime Intellect is hiring a Forward-Deployed Research Engineer to work embedded with AI companies, research labs, and enterprises using its Lab platform for post-training and agentic reinforcement learning. The role designs custom RL environments, evaluation harnesses, verifiers, agent scaffolding, training runs, and deployment recipes; translates customer needs into platform improvements; develops evaluation methodologies and agent examples; and contributes technical content. Candidates should have recent hands-on experience with LLM-based agents, evaluation design, RL and post-training concepts, Python, and customer-facing technical work. The role offers $150,000–$300,000 plus equity, flexible work in San Francisco or hybrid-remote, visa sponsorship, and relocation support.
