Zebra is hiring a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to work directly with customers, deploy and customize AI products, resolve complex technical challenges, and guide internal engineering teams. The role involves designing and testing AI software, architecting complex AI systems, leading software development projects, deploying applications on edge devices and Android, building data pipelines, and serving as a principal technical customer contact. Candidates need a bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant engineering discipline and 8+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 5+ years with an advanced degree. The position requires travel and offers a base salary of $122,800 to $184,200 annually plus a 12% target performance incentive.
