GovWell is hiring Forward Deployed Software Engineers to support complex enterprise deployments for municipalities and counties. The role involves diagnosing and resolving technical and workflow blockers during high-stakes launches, partnering with Sales and Deployment, traveling to customer sites, building targeted code or configurations, and identifying reusable product improvements. It is a hands-on, high-ownership engineering position based in New York City with at least three days per week in the office and travel as needed. Candidates need at least five years of full-stack or forward-deployed engineering experience in a production SaaS environment, strong product judgment, customer-facing deployment experience, executive communication skills, and strong TypeScript/Node or similar coding ability.
