Rune Technologies is hiring Forward Deployed Software Engineers in the Austin area to develop and deploy full-stack software for military logistics and sustainment. The role covers feature ownership from concept through deployment, systems integration, reliability monitoring, customer-facing engineering, and approximately 25% travel to field-test and support software in operational settings. Candidates need strong programming skills in Go, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar languages, strong collaboration and communication abilities, and an active U.S. secret security clearance; defense, logistics, cloud, edge, and data engineering experience are preferred.
