Millennium is hiring a Forward Deployed Software Engineer focused on equities technology. The role blends solutions architecture, software engineering, and client engagement to translate ambiguous business and research needs into scalable, secure architectures and production solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. Responsibilities include building Python libraries, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, automation, managed products, AI/ML proof-of-concepts, and supporting embedded engagements from discovery through implementation and knowledge transfer. The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, at least four years of software development experience, strong Python and cloud skills, and experience with DevOps, containerization, workflow orchestration, and AI/ML technologies. The estimated base salary is $175,000 to $250,000 for New York.
