Fonio is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work at the interface between its AI voice-agent product and customer setups. The role involves gathering customer requirements, building and deploying production workflows, prompts, guardrails, integrations, and automation logic, debugging live systems, creating reusable deployment templates, and providing prioritized product feedback. The position requires independent coding, AI and LLM knowledge, API and integration experience, basic cloud and observability skills, and strong communication; German and fluent English are required. It offers €65,000–€95,000 per year, is 100% remote with an optional Vienna office, and includes an application process involving meetings with founders.
