Description
The Foster Care Caseworker provides case management, supportive counseling, assessments, referrals, treatment and discharge planning, and coordination with foster youth, birth families, foster families, schools, therapists, and community partners. The role includes home visits, transportation, documentation in myEvolv and CONNECTIONS, EMR use, team meetings, and training direct-care staff. It requires a bachelor’s degree, at least three years of experience working with children and families in residential, group, or counseling child welfare capacity, and a valid driver’s license. The schedule is generally 80% face-to-face with clients, coworkers, and supervisors, with up to 20% remote work approved by a supervisor, and includes weekends, holidays, evenings, and on-call support. The stated salary is $23.08 per hour.
