Description
The Foster Care Supervisor oversees case managers and supports children and youth in foster care by monitoring placements, case planning, permanency, documentation, court requirements, and service delivery. The role provides supervision, coaching, training, performance management, recruitment support, on-call coverage, and stakeholder relations while maintaining compliance with Illinois child welfare requirements. It requires a master’s degree in social work or a related field, 3–4 years of recent child welfare experience, 2 years of supervisory experience, a valid Child Welfare Employee License, knowledge of Illinois DCFS Rule 402 and the Child Care Act, and availability for an on-call rotation. The salary is $63,000 per year.
