Description
ASML is hiring a Foundation Team Leader in Wilton to own and operate its machine shop engineering service. The role leads daily machine shop operations, capacity planning, tooling and equipment readiness, preventive maintenance, safety, precision manufacturing quality, and timely delivery of parts and prototypes for engineering, research and development, and program teams. It also includes people management for machinists and technicians, including hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and skills development; translating engineering design intent into manufacturable solutions; and improving machine shop capabilities in coordination with engineers, proto teams, Delivery, and other stakeholders. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or a relevant technical field, 10+ years of relevant technical experience, machining or lab-management expertise, leadership, communication, prioritization, effort-estimation, and risk-analysis skills. It is based onsite in Wilton with remote work available up to two days per week.
