Description
Peregrine is hiring a Foundations Software Engineer to independently own projects that improve the reliability, performance, and scale of its data platform. The role focuses on data ingestion, processing, enrichment, datastores, orchestrated pipelines, authorization, notifications, and production incident response, using technologies including Python, Django, Celery, Airflow, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes. Candidates need a computer science degree or equivalent experience, at least five years of professional software engineering experience, and experience with distributed systems or data-intensive services. The position is based in the San Francisco or New York area and requires office work.
