Nolla is hiring an AI Engineer to build production systems that integrate LLMs and other custom models into healthcare applications. The role owns backend systems, clinician-facing tooling, prompts, tool calling, inference optimization, evaluation, observability, safety, routing, and fallback strategies. It requires 4+ years of backend, platform, or product engineering experience, strong TypeScript and Python skills, and the ability to ship independently on small teams. The position is full-time, in-person in New York City, with a salary of $160,000-$220,000, equity, and medical, dental, and vision insurance.
