Description
AgentMail is hiring a full-time, on-site founding engineer in San Francisco to lead a team of 4–6 engineers and build backend and infrastructure primitives for an API that gives inboxes and identity/communication services to AI agents. The role focuses on designing intuitive APIs and abstractions, building low-latency distributed systems, owning projects end-to-end from system design through production rollout, writing maintainable code and documentation, and serving as the frontline for customer feedback. The ideal candidate has strong infrastructure experience, has shipped production software used at scale, and has 3+ years of engineering experience; the package includes equity and health benefits.
