Artie is hiring a founding engineer focused on distributed systems for its real-time streaming platform in San Francisco. The role involves building data infrastructure features such as column encryption, an analytics portal, schema change alerts, tooling for infrastructure automation, pipeline efficiency improvements, and new CDC connectors. The company seeks strong computer science fundamentals, experience or exposure to async systems and technologies like gRPC, Kafka, Kubernetes, Helm, and preferably Go, and offers a base salary of $150K-$250K plus healthcare, 401(k), PTO, meals, commuter and wellness benefits, and visa sponsorship.
