Description
Lava is hiring a Founding Engineer to work across its app, MCP, and monetization surfaces, extending gateway and billing systems, collaborating with the founder, product, and sales teams, and helping shape technical direction and company culture. The role requires deep engineering experience, ideally full-stack with a strong backend focus, system-design and scalability expertise, and hands-on AI experience; payments, infrastructure, or developer-tooling experience is a plus. It is an in-person position in New York City for candidates authorized to work in the United States, with no visa sponsorship.
