Description
The role is a first technical hire for an early-stage deep-tech startup building graph-native infrastructure for narrative intelligence. The position will take a research-grade prototype to production, own the full engineering architecture and roadmap, build the initial production slice, and hire and manage the engineering team as the company scales. Responsibilities include data and NLP pipelines, AI/ML integrations, CI/CD, observability, cloud and on-premises deployment, security, API and UI development, and close collaboration with the founding team and end users. The role requires at least five years of experience building data-intensive or NLP systems, Python expertise, experience with PostgreSQL and graph/vector/search technologies, and eligibility to obtain a security clearance. It is a full-time on-site position in Munich, Germany, with a salary of 60,000 to 120,000 EUR annually and visa sponsorship available.
