Description
Fortastra is hiring a founding Flight Software Engineer for its Engineering Division to develop and integrate spacecraft flight software end-to-end, including ground mission operations tools and vehicle-side embedded software. The role covers telemetry, commanding, visualization, software architecture, interfaces with avionics, propulsion, and GNC, CI/CD, simulation, and software-, hardware-, environmental-, and flight testing. It is an on-site position requiring a relevant bachelor's degree, prior mission operations or systems software experience, space systems experience, embedded real-time or safety-critical software familiarity, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain or hold an active TS/SCI clearance.
