Alloy is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to join its founding Forward Deployed Engineering function. The role is embedded with strategic enterprise customers, owning end-to-end deployments and technical outcomes across API integrations, SDKs, third-party data, latency constraints, production code, QBRs, and on-call escalations. The engineer will serve as a technical voice for customer engineering leadership, build reusable platform primitives, and travel to the New York City office and client offices in the United States. The position requires at least five years of production software experience, strong backend and API skills, and customer-facing technical ownership; it offers a base salary of $141,000 to $250,000 plus equity and benefits.
