Amazon is hiring a Founding Member Software Development Engineer for its Ordering platform, a core eCommerce system managing the customer purchase lifecycle. The role leads and grows diverse engineering product teams, partners with customers and product stakeholders, sets product roadmaps and technical vision, and provides architecture and design leadership for complex systems. Candidates need extensive engineering team management, software architecture, multi-tier web services, and full software development lifecycle experience, along with experience partnering with product or program management teams. The position is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, with a base salary of CAD 171,400 to 286,200 annually.
