Maxima is hiring its first Founding QA Engineer in Toronto to own quality for an enterprise accounting platform that prepares journal entries, matches transactions, and reconciles accounts. The role focuses on growing end-to-end Playwright test coverage, using AI to generate tests, maintaining the test suite, testing accounting edge cases manually, integrating tests into CI, and later fixing bugs and implementing features. The position is based in the downtown Toronto office near Union Station and requires in-person collaboration four to five days per week.
