Description
GRAM is hiring a Robot Learning Research Lead to own the company’s robot-learning research agenda. The role develops and adapts robot foundation models, sets technical direction and evaluation standards, designs transferable representations and policies, builds training curricula, scales experiments in PyTorch or JAX, deploys models through C++ robotics runtimes, and mentors researchers and engineers. Candidates need a relevant PhD or equivalent research record, demonstrated technical direction in robot learning, strong Python and PyTorch or JAX skills, C++ ability, and experience deploying learned models on physical systems. The position is on-site in the San Francisco Bay Area with an annual base salary of $225,000–$300,000, health coverage, benefits, equity, and a relocation bonus.
