Description
Cerve is hiring a founding Software Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and secure its distributed infrastructure, platform, and API products for the food and beverage supply chain. The role involves backend services, integrations, system architecture, observability, code quality, and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on scalable and reliable solutions. Candidates need at least six years of production experience with large distributed systems, strong Go and Python skills, cloud and database expertise, concurrency knowledge, and experience with AI-assisted coding tools; experience building agentic platforms is preferred. The position is hybrid from Cerve’s R&D Hub in Gothenburg and includes competitive salary, bonus potential, stock options, pension, flexible hours, and possible relocation.
