Description
Scalar is hiring its first Solutions Engineer to join the sales team in San Francisco and take the technical side of customer-facing selling. The role owns live demos, proofs of concept, API and OpenAPI evaluations, documentation migrations, SDK generation, secure MCP-server demonstrations, customer onboarding, technical escalations, and feedback to the product team. Candidates should have customer-facing technical experience, be able to write TypeScript, and understand APIs, OpenAPI, JSON Schema, authentication, and SDK ergonomics. The position is in-office in San Francisco with flexible time off and compensation of $145,000–$185,000 USD base plus variable and early equity.
