Description
Emerson is hiring a Melt/Molding Supervisor for its 1st shift at the Appleton Foundry in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role oversees melt-shop operations, production, personnel, safety, quality, equipment efficiency, costs, staffing, and the repair and maintenance of furnaces, ladles, and pouring spouts. The supervisor will lead skilled technicians and union employees, coordinate refractory installation, support foundry quality and capital-expenditure issues, and enforce 5S+1 and company policies. The position requires at least two years of foundry supervisory experience or four years of foundry experience, a high school diploma, strong problem-solving and leadership skills, and availability to work weekends.
