Description
The 3rd-shift foundry operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating melt and mold operations and related equipment, including magnet cranes, charge buckets, furnaces, bull ladles, inoculation, and DISA molding machines. The role also includes cleanup, breaks for foundry personnel, maintaining a clean work area, and performing general labor duties in a noisy, dusty environment with airborne sand and metal particulate, close proximity to molten iron, radiant heat, moving machinery, overhead cranes, platforms, and uneven flooring.
