Description
The Foundry Grinding Technician cleans, grinds, and finishes metal castings to meet quality and customer specifications, then inspects them for defects and prepares them for shipment. The role operates grinding, cutting, blasting, hoisting, and material-handling equipment; performs routine maintenance and safety checks; and may support core making, mold making, melting, pouring, shakeout, sand reclamation, and other foundry operations. It requires a high school diploma or GED, corrected vision to 20/20, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, PPE compliance, and willingness to work in a hot, noisy, dusty, and physically demanding manufacturing environment.
