Description

Intracom Defense (IDE), Greece's top tech defense company, is seeking an FPGA Design Engineer. The role involves system design starting from early project stages, defining hierarchy and partitioning complex embedded processing systems targeting SoC or high-end FPGAs. Responsibilities include RTL development up to final integration and testing, DFT, IP-based design flow using Vivado/Vitis suites, and debugging/troubleshooting cases across hardware/software boundaries in SOC designs. The engineer will collaborate with software embedded, DSP, and RF/Antenna engineers to validate Software Defined Radio systems.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 2+ years of proven/working experience in FPGA Design Flow targeting medium to high scale devices (FPGAs and SoCs)
Preferred Qualifications: AMD (Xilinx) embedded SW development environment (AMD Xilinx SDK/VITIS for SoCs with ARM Cortex and/or Microblaze cores)
Software Defined Radio architectures and platforms
Model Based Design methodology and tools
Wireless communications and digital signal processing (DSP)
High speed Digital Up-Conversion and Digital Down-Conversion designs
High speed serial busses (Rapid I/O, PCIe etc.)
C/C++ knowledge and experience in ARM, MicroBlaze programming
Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Tcl, Python)
Post-graduate studies in relevant technical areas
