Sener Aerospace and Defence is hiring an FPGA/Firmware Engineer for its Avionics and Flight System Division at the Tres Cantos work center in Madrid. The role involves designing, implementing, debugging, and verifying FPGA-based systems in VHDL; developing firmware for Xilinx Ultrascale, RFSoC, and Microsemi platforms; defining software and hardware interfaces; performing FPGA synthesis, simulation, place-and-route, and timing analysis; and supporting system integration and validation. Candidates need hands-on Xilinx FPGA experience, familiarity with Microsemi devices, proficiency in VHDL, C, and Python, Linux development experience, Git knowledge, defense or space-market awareness, and hardware development skills.
