Virtu is hiring an FPGA Intern in Austin for a 10-week program from June 7, 2027 through August 13, 2027. The internship focuses on FPGA and ASIC hardware design, covering architecture, RTL implementation, simulation, verification, and bring-up on live hardware. Interns work on real trading-system projects with senior mentors, with no finance background required. Candidates should be pursuing a master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, have experience with hardware description languages, be comfortable with Python, C++, or similar software, understand network protocols, and demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills.
