Description
The Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection Technician prepares parts for inspection, processes them through an FPI line, verifies compliance with engineering drawings and customer requirements, maintains traceability and documentation, and supports equipment checks and routine maintenance. The role requires blueprint interpretation, quality inspection knowledge, documentation, defect identification, teamwork, confidentiality, and the ability to obtain and maintain FPI Level I certification under NAS410. A high school diploma or GED is required, while previous manufacturing or aerospace experience and NDT or FPI experience are preferred.
