Description
Wave is hiring a Fraud Analyst for Niger, based in its Niamey office with occasional travel to field locations. The role reports to the Regional Risk Lead and focuses on assessing fraud risks, identifying vulnerabilities, monitoring suspicious transactions, investigating and escalating fraud cases, coordinating with legal and local authorities, producing fraud data and dashboards, supporting fraud training and stakeholder communications, and following up with agents regarding commission cuts. The position requires work authorization in Niger, a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, at least three years of financial-sector experience involving investigations and fraud controls, and English proficiency.
