Description
The Forklift Operator loads, unloads, stages, scans, and moves freight in a multimodal transportation terminal, intermodal yard, warehouse, or dock environment. The role uses forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment; documents freight; identifies damaged or unsafe conditions; maintains a safe dock environment; and supports workflow coordination and productivity. The operator may mentor Material Handlers, assist with complex freight, and work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. Compensation is $18.62 per hour, with a Monday-through-Friday schedule involving early-morning and overnight shifts.
