Description
The Forklift Operator safely loads, unloads, stages, scans, tracks, and moves freight in a multimodal transportation terminal, intermodal yard, warehouse, or dock environment. The role uses forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment; coordinates dock and workflow activities; documents freight; identifies damaged or unsafe conditions; and mentors Material Handlers. It requires forklift certification, at least three years of dock or warehouse experience, English communication, basic arithmetic, equipment-operation ability, regular attendance, and the ability to perform physically demanding work in an outdoor or non-climate-controlled environment. Compensation is $19 per hour.
