Description
The Forklift Operator loads, unloads, stages, scans, tracks, and moves freight in multimodal transportation terminals, intermodal yards, warehouses, or dock environments. The role uses forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment; coordinates dock and workflow activities; documents freight; identifies damaged or unsafe conditions; and supports Material Handlers through mentoring and onboarding. It requires forklift certification, at least three years of dock or warehouse experience, English communication, basic arithmetic, equipment operation, regular attendance, and the ability to perform physically demanding work in a noisy, non-climate-controlled environment. Compensation is $218.50 per hour.
