Description
The Forklift Operator loads, unloads, stages, scans, and moves freight in a multimodal transportation terminal, intermodal yard, warehouse, or dock environment. The role uses sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment, while also documenting freight, coordinating dock activities, identifying damaged or unsafe conditions, and mentoring Material Handlers. The position is onsite, scheduled Sunday through Thursday from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., pays $20.00 per hour with a $3 shift differential between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., and requires forklift certification, at least three years of dock or warehouse experience, and the ability to perform physically demanding work.
