Description
The Forklift Operator loads, unloads, stages, scans, and moves freight in a multimodal transportation terminal, intermodal yard, warehouse, or dock environment. The role uses sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment; prepares items for shipping; documents freight; identifies damaged or unsafe conditions; and supports dock productivity and workflow coordination. The position pays $20.58 per hour, is onsite Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., and requires forklift certification, at least three years of dock or warehouse experience, English communication, basic arithmetic, and the ability to perform physically demanding work in a noisy, non-climate-controlled environment.
