Description
The Forklift Operator loads, unloads, stages, scans, and moves freight in a multimodal transportation terminal, intermodal yard, warehouse, or dock environment. The role uses sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment; prepares items for shipping; documents freight; identifies damaged or unsafe conditions; and supports dock productivity and workflow coordination. The position pays $20 per hour, is onsite, and runs Sunday through Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with potential night, weekend, holiday, and overtime work. Candidates need forklift certification, at least three years of dock or warehouse experience, English communication skills, basic arithmetic and scanning abilities, and the physical ability to perform extended standing and heavy lifting.
