Description
The Forklift Operator loads, unloads, stages, scans, and moves freight in a multimodal transportation terminal, intermodal yard, warehouse, or dock environment. The role uses sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, carts, and dollies; prepares items for shipping; documents freight; identifies damaged or unsafe conditions; maintains a safe dock environment; and supports workflow coordination and problem resolution. The position pays $21.56 per hour, is onsite Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. It requires forklift certification, at least three years of dock or warehouse experience, English communication skills, basic arithmetic, and the ability to operate material-handling equipment and work in physically demanding conditions.
