Description
The Forklift Operator loads, unloads, stages, scans, and moves freight in a multimodal transportation terminal, intermodal yard, warehouse, or dock environment. The role uses sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment, while also documenting freight, coordinating dock activities, identifying damaged or unsafe conditions, and mentoring Material Handlers. It pays $20 per hour and requires an onsite Saturday–Tuesday 4:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. schedule, forklift certification, and at least three years of dock or warehouse experience.
