Description
The Forklift Operator loads, unloads, stages, scans, and moves freight in a multimodal transportation terminal, intermodal yard, warehouse, or dock environment. The role uses sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, carts, and dollies, and may assist with shipping preparation, dock coordination, freight documentation, problem resolution, and mentoring Material Handlers. It requires forklift certification, at least three years of dock or warehouse experience, English communication, basic arithmetic, equipment operation, and the ability to work an onsite Tuesday–Saturday night shift from 12 p.m. to 6 a.m. Base pay is $24 per hour with a $1.50 night-shift differential.
