Description
The University of Alabama is hiring a renewable-contract Freshman Engineering Program instructor in Tuscaloosa to teach ENGR 101 and ENGR 104 and develop AI training materials for engineering students. The non-tenure-track, three-year appointment is renewable at the University’s discretion and includes lectures, labs, group work, projects, office hours, and participation in planning meetings and college committees. Applicants must have a master’s degree in computer science, engineering education, or a closely related field, demonstrate college-level teaching ability, and be knowledgeable about algorithmic thinking, computational problem-solving, and AI in the engineering classroom.
