Description
upGrad is hiring a Frontend Engineer in Bengaluru to build high-performance web experiences using Next.js, React, and TypeScript. The role owns web performance, scalability, the end-to-end request journey, Core Web Vitals, rendering and caching patterns, observability, and reusable frontend foundations. The engineer will diagnose bottlenecks, optimize APIs and server or edge execution, reduce unnecessary complexity, collaborate with backend, infrastructure, design, and product teams, and use AI as an engineering tool while maintaining ownership of technical decisions. The position is based in Bengaluru and requires work from the office.
