Description
The Frontend Engineer will design and ship user-facing interfaces for a surgical copilot platform, including operating-room device screens, internal engineering and research tools, and visualization tools for surgical video, medical imaging, and model output. The role establishes reusable UI components and patterns, connects applications to APIs and real-time edge-device data streams, and contributes to regulatory-grade software development practices. It requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least two years of professional frontend experience, JavaScript or TypeScript with a modern framework, backend integration experience, and Python or Python-based backend systems experience. The position is remote in LATAM, overlaps with U.S. business hours, and offers $50,000-$60,000 USD annually plus competitive equity and unlimited PTO.
