Playground is hiring an engineering professional to build and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure for its child-care technology platform. The role focuses on deployment pipelines, security, frontend build optimization with Vite, environment separation, logging, uptime monitoring, CI/CD automation, developer tools, and documentation. Candidates need at least five years of infrastructure, DevOps, or frontend-focused software engineering experience, React proficiency, and experience with modern deployment tools, CI/CD, Vite, monorepos, logging, and monitoring. The position is fully in-person in Union Square, New York City, and includes equity, paid time off, health, vision, and dental benefits, an education stipend, and a daily lunch.
