Description

Trimble is hiring a Front-End React Engineer to build production React screens for the next-generation TMW Suite Dispatch UI, replacing a legacy Windows desktop application. The role involves end-to-end screen ownership, Redux state management, MUI X DataGrid and Trimble Maps integration, OData and SQL backend integration, Playwright and axe-core testing, accessibility, responsive layouts, and weekly software delivery. The position requires at least three years of production React and TypeScript experience and is remote in the United Kingdom.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: At least 3 years of production React application development with TypeScript
Experience with data-heavy user interfaces, including grids, tables, filters, server-side pagination, and real-time updates
Experience integrating front-ends with REST or OData APIs and debugging request-response chains
Experience with responsive CSS layouts, design systems, and cross-browser rendering
Experience with trunk-based development, feature branches, clean commit history, and pull-request reviews
Experience working in a pair-squad model with another developer and an embedded generalist
Preferred Qualifications: Drag-and-drop implementation experience
Experience using Cursor for daily development
Familiarity with MUI and theming
Experience modernizing legacy desktop applications into browser-based UIs
Background in .NET/C# OData APIs
Logistics, transportation, or energy industry knowledge
